Shipping Policy
All products ship F.O.B. Factory at the customer’s expense unless otherwise quoted. Our preferred method of shipping is via FedEx or UPS Ground and USPS. Certain products will need to ship by common carrier and we will choose the best way unless otherwise requested. Specific shipment dates cannot be guaranteed, due to possible material shortages, accidents, strikes, governmental regulations and other factors and conditions beyond our control. We reserve the right to hold shipment of all open orders to customers whose account is past due. Please note: Posted rates reflect business address shipments only. Shipments to residential addresses may be subject to additional charge.
Shipping and free shipping promotions to United States exclude: Alaska/Hawaii, US Protectorates, APO/FPO and PO boxes.
International Shipping
Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details. Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Hotel Supplies Depot is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.
All International shipments (i.e anywhere outside of the continental USA) must be paid by International Wire Transfer. Credit card transactions will not be accepted. Please contact our sales department for Bank Transfer details.
At this time, as per this website, the customer is responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. The customer/recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all the laws and regulations of the destination country.
Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance MUST BE BORNE by the recipient; we have NO CONTROL over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. It is strongly advised that you contact your local customs official for more information prior to placing an order. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
